Archive Exchange uses a trust-based badge system to recognize constructive participation, responsible behavior, and long-term involvement within the community.
How Badges Work
Every user begins as a Member. As members participate positively, they may unlock additional badges based on reputation, activity, account history, and conduct.
Member
Member is the starting badge for registered users.
- 5 topics per day
- 15 replies per day
Trusted Member
Trusted Members are active participants who have demonstrated consistent positive engagement.
- Verified email address
- Account age of at least 14 days
- 100+ reputation points
- At least 3 topics created
- At least 15 replies posted
- No active warnings or suspensions
Community Reviewer
Community Reviewers are experienced members who may assist with limited moderation-related review tasks. This badge requires administrator approval.
- Trusted Member badge required
- Account age of at least 30 days
- 300+ reputation points
- At least 8 topics created
- At least 40 replies posted
- No active warnings
Moderator
Moderators are official site roles manually assigned by administrators. Moderator status is not unlocked automatically.
Administrator
Administrators manage the platform, community systems, and final moderation decisions. Administrator status is assigned manually only.
